About us.
Our opening times for over night dog boarding and doggy day boarding are:
Monday to Friday 7:30am - 6pm or any times in between for daycare.
Drop off time is 2.00 - 3.30pm and Pick up time is 10-11.30 am for boarding.
During Christmas we will close on the 23rd December and reopen 27th December. Dogs holidaying with us during this period must be booked in for a minimum of 3 nights.
Our five purpose-built kennels, each with their own outdoor run, offer a secure and comfortable space for your dog to relax. Located on the outskirts of the peaceful village of West Stockwith, we’re surrounded by beautiful countryside and riverside walks—perfect for plenty of fresh air, fun, and daily adventures.

Whether your dog is full of energy or just needs a gentle boost, our equipment is suitable for all breeds and activity levels. We believe variety is key to keeping dogs engaged and stimulated, so we regularly rotate and refresh our setups to keep things interesting.

Our team.
Croft House Kennels is a family-run boarding facility operated by Karen Holmes and her daughter, Samantha. With a lifelong love of dogs, Karen has dedicated herself to studying canine behaviour, health, and training—earning a range of qualifications along the way.
Samantha shares Karen’s passion and plays an active role in ensuring each dog receives personalised care, from interactive play to gentle enrichment activities.
Her vision was to create more than just a kennel—a place where dogs feel safe, loved, and mentally stimulated during their stay. That vision became a reality with Croft House Kennels, where every dog is treated like family.
